Music Ministry

Our desire at First Baptist Church of Whitney is to worship and praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The scripture says, "Sing joyfully to the Lord...Praise the Lord...
Make music to Him... Sing to Him a new song...
Shout for joy." Psalms 33:1-3

Come, now is the time to worship!

We worship the Lord through ageless hymns and popular Christian music. We have opportunity for our worshippers to participate in our adult choir (FBC Chorus) as well as providing special music presentations through solos and small ensembles. The FBC Chorus prepares two major programs during the year at Easter and Christmas. The choir rehearses at 5:00 PM on Wednesday.

Our Praise Team regularly leads in Sunday morning worship, but on special occasions the FBC Chorus will lead as well.
